The 24011 series is a 3/2 (3-way, 2-position) direct solenoid actuated poppet valve, designed for precise control of fluid (air, gas, or compatible liquids) in industrial automation systems.
 
Its core working principle relies on direct solenoid actuation—the solenoid coil generates magnetic force when energized, directly driving the poppet (a plunger-like sealing component) to shift positions. This eliminates the need for intermediate pilot pressure, enabling fast response times and reliable operation even in low-pressure applications.
 
As a 3/2 valve, it features three fluid ports (typically labeled P for pressure inlet, A for working outlet, and R for exhaust) and two stable operating positions. It is commonly used to control single-acting cylinders, activate pneumatic clutches, or manage on/off fluid flow in systems like packaging machinery, textile equipment, and small-scale process control setups.
